Description DS 7 Crossback

DS7 Crossback - a compact crossover from the French premium brand DS. Introduced February 2017 in Paris. Used as the official car for the inauguration ceremony of French President Emmanuel Macron.

The car is built on a modular platform EMP2. Overall length - 4570 mm, width - 1890 mm, height -1620 mm, that is, it is almost 10 cm shorter Audi Q5. The chrome-plated radiator grille received a diamond-cut finish, the hood of the crossover was decorated with pleats, and LED modules stylized as diamonds were integrated into the headlights. In DS Active LED Vision optics, they shine purple and can rotate 180 degrees. Daytime running lights are combined with LED "running" direction indicators.

The cabin has two widescreen 12-inch monitors. The center console display provides information about the navigation system, multimedia, Mirror Screen and DS Connect smartphone connection applications. The second device is a digital dashboard with personalization options and various settings. Five trim schemes are offered for the model, which are inspired by the iconic locations of Paris: Bastille, Rivoli, Faubourg, Op?ra; plus a Performance Line variant. A special set of Grand Tourer accessories from a series of recently launched equipment options is also offered.

Available in front- and all-wheel drive (with hybrid plant ) versions. In Ukraine, the DS 7 Crossback is presented with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel (180 hp and 400 Nm), which works with an 8-speed automatic EAT8 (aka Aisin AWF8F35). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.4 seconds, and the fuel consumption in the combined cycle is declared by the manufacturer at 4.9 liters per 100 km.

The flagship crossover DS received a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear. At the same time, the model is equipped with an adaptive DS Active Scan Suspension system: while driving, the car “scans” in real time and accordingly adjusts the stiffness of the shock absorbers to the driving conditions – as a result, an excellent ride is achieved.
